This activity is an extension of evangelical activities SERVE teams have performed there previously. We have presented the gospel to essentially unreached tribes in three different areas of the country.  We have performed crusades and medically treated hundreds of people. As a result of these activities many hundreds  have accepted the Lord. All of this has been done in conjunction with the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA). Most of the people in northeast Kenya are of the Muslim faith where there has been very little penetration by the PCEA, dreds  have accepted the Lord. The SERVE team will be working with people associated with Unity in the Word Ministries International. LoiseThis group is headquartered in Nariobi and is led by Loise Mereka shown in the photo with her husband, a well know Christian African lady. She is planning all the activities as she has done previously. Her people have led the previous activities and the SERVE team has filled in and worked with them. Her team in a previous activity is shown. This mission will be a little different than before in that the primary thrust will be associated with medical mission work to draw the Muslim people where they will than be exposed to the gospel. The activities in Garissa are being planned by a Christian Muslim living there.
Our teams working with members of Unity in the Word Ministries International have had a wonderful time and many tremendous experiences meeting the local people and presenting the Lord’s  word to them in various crusades and medical missions The  photo shows a Massi lady with a girl waiting for a medical check up. The photo below  shows two of our team members working with some of the children. They had a great time doing arts and crafts with them. These are great opportunities to know the people .Kenya
Cost for this will be around $3,000-$3,500. This includes the air fare to Nairobi, lodging and food in Kenya and some support for the Unity in the Word Ministries team who will be with us in the various activities. They have very little in the way of financial recourses so we cover most of their expenses which are very minimal since they live very economically.  We pray that you and your friends will be challenged and excited to join this team to present the gospel to literally thousands of people who do not know our Lord. Especially accept the challenge of medically treating and presenting the Lord’s word to the Muslims in the Garissa area. This will be an exciting and challenging experience. Become turned on about evangelism work for our Savior as all previous team members have.
