Planning activities for construction of two dormitories for orphaned children in Kitale, Kenya (northwest part of the country) is under good control. This work is to be performed over an eight week span from late Jun to mid Aug. See full story (written by Carolyn Pollock)...

The Pollack family leading this work is doing a great job of organizing everything. For instance, they have worked out the details so that local people are now in the process of making the 36,000 cement blocks needed in the construction. Hopefully all the required blocks will be available on site when the first team arrives. There have been lots of needs to perform this rather large project: about $60,000 in funds and numerous people with the appropriate skills to perform this job. Many thanks to (1) those who have generously donated funds and (2) the many volunteers who will be making this much needed project a reality for the orphans. There are a lot of people involved in this activity. Please pray for their traveling mercies, safety on the job site, and great ministry with the local people.
